Non-profit organizations be aware, the deadline for Ad2 Tucson's 2012-2013 Public Service Campaign is fast approaching.
The winner of the campaign will receive pro bono marketing to support its public service project, the deadline is July 18.
This is a campaign that Ad2 members participate in yearly, donating their time and varied professional marketing/advertising skills to help promote the public services for these non-profit organizations.
The recipient for 2011 was JobPath. They are a nonprofit providing training and support to underemployed adults in Tucson, to help them find better paying jobs to support their families. The campaign promoted JobPath’s Aviation Technology Program to a target audience of men ages 27 to 45. Ad2 provided the organization with an aviation-specific logo, promotional brochures, poster, website banner, Facebook page and presentation materials.
During this campaign Ad2 strives to make sure the individual needs and goals of each organization are met. Previous campaigns for the non-profits have incorporated the use of television, radio, print, outdoor, and interactive advertising elements.
Some previous recipients include: BICAS, Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse’s Angel Children’s Center, The Salvation Army ENCORE! Celebrity Fashion Show, Southern Arizona Network for Down Syndrome, and the Literacy Volunteers of Tucson.
Non-profits can get their application on the 'Public Service' page of the Ad2 Tucson website at www.ad2tucson.com. Completed applications must be emailed to ad2tucson@gmail.com no later than July 18.
