‘Stuff the Bus’ event to benefit Center against Domestic Abuse | Community Spirit

If you are looking to help make a difference in the life of a domestic abuse victim, then this is the event for you. 

There will be an opportunity to donate the following items: used cell phones, grocery store gift cards, new towels, baby wipes and diapers.  Cash donations will also be accepted, and matched by the Arizona Lottery up to $10,000. 

The Sun Tran bus will be located at the Sam Levitz Furniture’s eastside location (100 N. Pantano Road).  Donations will be accepted from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow. 

All donations will benefit EMERGE! Center Against Domestic Abuse, as well as promote Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 

In a recent news release about the event, Sun Tran General Manager Kate Riley had this to say, "Sun Tran employees are happy to participate in this event to benefit individuals and families in crisis in our community. The donations collected will help meet the basic needs of those in the program while they focus on healing.”
