BLM thanks the military with free annual passes

The Bureau of Land Management is showing their appreciation for the U.S. military with a free annual pass giveaway, starting on May 19, Armed Forces Day.

The annual pass allows free access to all BLM-managed public lands for active duty military and their dependents.

Today, March 21 is when Saguaro National Park stops selling plastic bottles of water or soda at either park location.

Saguaro National Park is joining an increasing number of national parks and universities that will no longer have vending machines that sell soda or water in plastic bottles.
