Rain totals for early week storm

Rain totals in Vail area from this weekend

The rains began around 8am Saturday and have really added up! Here are some of the latest totals as of 5pm on Sunday.

Vail Area

0.12      Approximately 1.8 miles northwest of Vail

Hail in Sonoita; Heavy rain falls over Tucson's East Side

A flood advisory was issued for parts of Pima County until 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Tucson.

At about 2:21 p.m., radar showed numerous thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall over the East Side of Tucson.

Rain totals from Thursday's storm

The storms on Thursday were intense, but one thing you will notice from the rain totals is the fact that even though these storms were record setting, they were NOT very widespread. Midtown, the foothills, Tucson's Westside and Northwest side saw very little rain Thursday while the Eastside and South side received record amounts. Here are the totals:
